"I'm really happy with this purchase. These are high quality, very soft and comfortable, yet stylish pants for work or going out. I find the cut very slimming. I am just in the beginning of my pregnancy and not showing much but I could already wear this if I wanted to - and yet I see there will be enough room to grow in. I am tall (5'9) and they are a bit short - would have done better with the long but I'll keep them for now to wear with flats or lower heeled and buy a longer pair later on for heels."

"I'm afraid these just weren't for me, they didn't seem to fit me properly (but everybody's shape is different!) and I didn't like the fabric so they had to go back."

"These trousers are amazing and I love them but the only thing was that the first day I wore them the black dye came off everywhere and i had black dye all down my legs at the end of the day! Wash them first!"

"These pants are not your high end material tailored suit pants. Choices are slim out there though. Unfortunately, I ordered what I thought would be my size and it was way too big. I sized up because of the other comments but should have just gone with the exact prepreg size. It was too big but it also kind of bunched up in the crotch area so I returned them."

"I found it hard to track down tailored trousers with an inbuilt bump band, but these have it which makes them both comfy and work with whatever top you want to wear. The material is lovely and great quality - thick and flattering. I need them shortened [I'm 5' 6"]. Could definitely wear them outside work."

"At first I was hesitant to order nice maternity trousers online, but I am SO glad I went ahead with the purchase. The IO Tailored Trousers are perfect for work and evenings out. The fit is comfortable and the IO size chart is spot-on! The fabric quality and craftsmanship is impeccable; there is nothing bad I can say about these pants. I wear a size 2 pants pre-pregnancy and I ordered the size 0. The hips and thigh area fit just right and still have plenty of room to grow in the belly area. I'm probably going to order 1-2 more because I like them so much."

"These are lovely. I ordered them in a 0 which were a little snug though still looked great. I decided to exchange for a 1 which is out of stock which I am disappointed about. I am currently waiting on a size 2 so we'll see if they're any good. If you can get these in your size then I would say do as they are gorgeous well fitting trousers. The reason I have not rated with 5 stars is that I am very weary of the discrepancies in IO clothing (see review of 'the essential trouser', whereby the size 1 was SMALLER than the size 0 in this trouser)."

"These trousers are made from beautiful material and the overall cut and style is lovely. HOWEVER, the pockets and belt hooks at the top completely spoil the elegance of the trouser. The pockets gaped open either side of my bump and I would never dream of wearing a belt during pregnancy. A great shame because these trousers have the potential to be fabulous."

"I finally found a pair of trousers that fit now and still have room to grow with me! In general I prefer a higher panel, and love the discreet option to adjust the waist size-- there is an elastic adjustment built into the waistband.
Pre-pregnancy I am a size 0/ 25."

"Trousers are good fit with comfy bump band. I would have preferred a more natural fabric but they seem to be washing and wearing well. The longer length is very long, even though I am tall (178cm), so they need heels!"

"I ordered the essential trouser in a size 2 and it fit a little snug around the thighs as I am normally a size 6 or 8. I returned and order these in a size 3 and the fit is much better. I can't really tell the difference between the two trousers but if you are in between sizes, go up. The size 2 would probably fit now but I am 6 months and want to wear these till the end. The belt loops are a little big and they stick out as do the pockets but that is my only complaint."
