"I have this in grey & ivory now. The grey is a wonderful marl material and is thick enough to be worn on it's own. The ivory seemed to be a thinner material and shows through some bra detail, but still an excellent quality piece. Thus I will use the ivory as a layering/under top and probably not on it's own."

"I have bought maternity tops of this quality from IO before and could not resist buying two more 'normal' tops of different colours. The Girls have not disappointed again - lovely items, feel nice on my skin, perfect fit and great service - as always!"

"Yes, these are expensive but the fabric, fit and quality are worth every penny. I have looked for years to find turtlenecks like these that you can layer with but also wear on their own. The extra length in the torso/arms is fabulous and makes a basic just a bit more stylish. I have worn/washed them for an entire season and they still look brand new. I am usually a IO D and find that the D fits perfectly, if you are looking for a looser fit order up a size."

"Wonderful turtleneck but I was a little dissappointed that it didn't have a fold-over neck (as most do). The fit is nice though and very comfy - the material is thin which is nice on warm days - I match it up with the wrap cardigan shawl I bought when I was pregnant."

"This is a good staple item to have - definitely a 'classic'. I used Isabella Oliver when I was pregnant and it was the quality of the material which I loved then. I am happy to see the quality is the same for regular women's wear. The fit is flattering and snug without being tight. The only downside is that it isn't that warm so more layers needed when cold. I know from the maternity wear that you can also wash IO items many times without the quality or colour fading."

"This is a beautiful turtleneck. I bought it in black and white and love both. I am a larger size and it is very flattering, with a high-cut neck that doesn't droop, and cosy sleeves that are a little longer than other brands, which is great for winter (and for women with long arms, like me!). It is also cut long in the body -- a great plus, as most other brands cut all their clothes too short. The fabric is soft and a little stretchy, but not clingy, and it sits well with coats, jackets or jumpers over the top."
