"This is really a great top and if you get the right fit, a staple. I believe that IO should make this a core piece instead of a seasonal one. Maybe even do it in a thinner wool fabric for the cooler months (although you can wear this then as well, under a jacket or cardi).
I'm not rating this 4 stars for a few reasons: I bought it one size down on the basis of the other reviews and I'm entirely sure that was the right move. It fits fine but I think it would have more of the "ruched" look as in the pictures if it were the actual size. Also, it's got a lining that I find a bit distracting. I really thought that this was one tank but there is a short of sheer fabric lining and honestly if you don't watch out, it will stick out if you don't drape properly. I could do without it and the same effect should likely be possible with a slightly thicker jersey (if that is necessary).
Despite the few negatives (and they are minute), I'm keeping it...just wish they would make more and also in more colours - like an olive, for example. That would be wonderful for autumn!"

"I ordered this top in black and ivory, but only kept the black because the ivory was a bit too see through for me. I find the top to drape beautifully and can be dress up or down thanks to the material it is made out of. The ruching also seems to give the illusion of a flatter tummy than I have. I am typically a US 6/8 and I found the D to fit perfectly. Also, this can be worn in the early stages of pregnancy thanks to the ruching!"

"I bought this top in black as a safe option. It fits beautifully and looks ever so elegant - great for a night out. I have been looking for a "going out" top for quite some time - I'm usually a size 12 (I ordered IO size D & it fits perfectly) this one ticks all the boxes: extremely comfortable, wonderful, slinky material, flattering cut and looks sexy (though not revealing). I especially love the longer length and one-sided ruching. Thank you IO."
