"This is a good basic but I was disappointed with the sleeve length and partial under layer (just covers bust). I'm a 5'11" size 10 and the sleeves are too short due to the ruching detail - I would of prefered them without as it is more of a 3/4 sleeve. The quality is good overall and not thin fabric but for a white top to be worn with trousers it would be better if the under layer was full length to avoid being see-through."

"Bought this top in black and white. Love the fit. Really comfortable. Very flattering around my bump. Smart enough for work / the evening, and just as good paired with jeans. Really happy with them"

"Not too much more to say. The top is easy to wear, a good length and fit, with good quality fabric.
I have the heather grey (will look better on me once I am less winter white!) and am planning to buy a few more in different colours.

"I waited for this top to go on sale and I scooped up three colours: black, white and heather gray - all staple colours. This is the best top purchase I've made during my pregnancy and I can see myself wearing these tops post-pregnancy as well. I ordered a size 2 and it's a perfect fit. Other reviews indicate that the scoop neck is too low, but I didn't find that's the case. Don't hesitate on ordering this top, you'll get a lot of wear out of it."

"Lovely good quality material and fit well around bump. Unfortunately my top had far too much fabric on the arms which are actually quite baggy. I took the tags out and whenever I put on end up taking it off again as ends up looking frumpy. I'm 5ft3 and 12-14ish so maybe better on someone tall and lean who can wear a smaller size."

"What fabric is this? I bought the grey in size 12 and I found the fabric lacking in breathability. The day was a sweaty armpit day. In winter too. I prefer a more cotton like feel and this lacked it.

"Great top and true to size.. Very flattering with the detail on the arms and sides. Very comfortable to wear and looks great with maternity jeans and a scarf. Highly recommend as a basic top for layering beneath knits or under a cardigan."

"Unfortunately the colour fushia appears a lot more luminous than depicted online. As I like the style however, I have exchanged it for a different colour. It would be nice to have more muted colours other than black, white and grey."

"Love this top, just ordered two more. I'm only 13 weeks and it's not too baggy, but because of the ruching I know this will be fine when go ten days overdue like last time. I am 6 ft 1 and this comes down about 2 inches below my bellybutton at the moment. Really good length. Nice long arms too. Perfect for winter."

"It is comfortable, stretches well, the length is good, not too long. The size is accurate, the colours are nice - I have white and navy. It's good for work under blazer or for leisure with jeans. I am 30 weeks now and believe it will be good till the end and after."

"I was worried about my normal size 10 would be too tight. But as the neck is low, a size 12 will be too revealing. So I kept the size 10. not the most comfortable material. but quite stylish."

"My black top in size 2 fits beautifully for a pre-bump size 10. The ruched fabric works well at 15 weeks, and there's enough room to grow, possibly all the way to the very end! It goes well with the ruched midi skirt for work and with jeans for the weekend. Excellent quality, comfy fabric. Perhaps the only slight negatives would be the low cut neckline (not so great for the larger bust) and excessive amount of fabric ruched around the wrists - but otherwise perfect."

"pleased with this purchase, i have it in black too. only downfall is the neckline is a bit low for me and when i pull it up the seam which is under the first layer cuts across the bust. otherwise perfect! washes well."

"A bit like the previous reviewer, I have a daughter who is nearly one, and I am still wearing my IO ruched tops! I am still feeding my baby myself and so dieting to regain my former shape isn't something I am rushing. These ruched tops disguise my tummy, and don't ride up like non-maternity clothes would. I've worn my IO ruched tops from my first pregnancy thru to 40 weeks, beyond pregnancy whilst back to my normal flat stomached size 10, through a second pregnancy, and to where I am now, which is 2 weeks shy of my second daughters 1st birthday. Amazingly they haven't overstretched and gone saggy like other maternity brands have, and they have looked beautifully fitted at both a 42 weeks with 10lb baby inside and afterwards with a flat tummy, so to me they have been very good value for money. Every time a new snazzy colour comes out I add another to my collection!"

"The most practical piece in my maternity wardrobe.
I wear it with a scarf and dress pants for work or with jeans on the weekends. The form fitting shape accentuates what I want, the ruche hides what I don't. It's ultra comfy and the quality is good to withstand many washes.

"So I am at 15 weeks, and quite in between on clothing (pre vs pregnancy clothing) and I was frustrated by not being able to look nice in either type of top.. until I pulled out my scoop top from my previous pregnancy. Ahhhh, wonderful! I do not know how IO can make their clothing look soooo good, early through post pregnancy. My husband said I looked hot. I am happy... IO is really the only tops I want to wear!"

"I just bought this top in three different colours and my baby has just turned one. I am still wearing all my Isabella Oliver maternity clothes from the pregnancy as they are so flattering. The ruching on this top hides a multitude of figure flaws. Just wish the sale had lasted longer."
