"I love the cut and style of this coat. It's just perfect for the unpredictable changes in the British weather. I wear it to work during the day and it's so stylish that I also wear it when I go out in the evenings."

"I bought this trench coat in 'Stone' in Size 'S' (8-10). I'm usually a size 10 and found this coat to be huge! I would say that the size 'S' fits more like a UK Size 12. I tried it on and the sleeves came down to my knuckles and there was lots of extra material around the waist area, so that when you tie up the belt it makes your look fat. The 'Stone' colour is also a little darker than appears in photos. Beautiful quality coat, but unfortunately it has to go back. :("

"It is a classic trench and good quality fabric etc. Only small criticism is that the sleeve length is a little long."

"Not bad but not as stylish as it appears in the photography. Large shoulder pads and the collar is a bit small.
Bit of a standard mac but the quality and colour (navy) is good.
Decent enough to keep but only as I got it in the sale. It would have gone back if I paid full price."

"Colour not as shown in the magazine or on line much darker nearer to black and very long in the sleeves. Felt also like a sack of spuds done up in the middle too much material. Just a personal opinion maybe I am not tall enough to carry it off."

"The only reason I haven't given this item 5 stars across the board is because the fit appears to be for someone a tad taller than me (meaning the waist is lower on me which looks a bit silly) - I'm 5'4" so I guess I am on the cusp of 'petite' rather than 'average'? Otherwise, great fabric, style and quality!"

"As usual, I fall for the picture of the model and buy outerwear from IO only to find that it is gigantic on me. I am 5,3 and ~98 lbs and basically I can't buy any sort of coat from IO. They are all gigantic, all come in sizes S/M/L, which means the fit is always going to be generic anyway - and when they're cut so generously, they basically dwarf me. So I waste more money on shipping items back and forth. Such a terrible terrible pity. What I don't understand is how this coat can fit so snugly on the model. I imagine she's wearing a Small, and there's no way that the small sits so snugly on her w.out alterations. The height helps in getting that coat to hit so much above the knee, of course. A tragedy."

"I found this mac a disappointing buy. The fit was not at all on me as on the model (may suit very tall people better) and I felt it wasn't good enough quality for an expensive coat. Also, I went for a small which is a size 8-10 (I am a size 10/12) and it was too big on me. Quite frustrating as due to the size and weight of it, it was quite pricey to send back to IO."

"I bought this trench a couple of weeks ago -it is a great colour and the cut of the neck line is superb and very flattering. The mac is also not tight fabric, I dont like the material to be hard and coasre and this mac certainly is not. Good knee length too!"
