"This is a lovely dress as per the other comments on here, and I was delighted to get it at a great price in the flash sale promotion! I am 5'3" and a size 10 and quite often I am a size 8 with Baukjen so I ordered the size 10 based on comments abotu this dress being on the small size. I actually needed a size 12. The 10 did fit but it was very tight and a bit too figure hugging. The 12 is much better and the length good, even with me only being 5'3"."

"I gave this dress top marks for quality and style. Everyone needs a little black dress and this is it! Can be dressed up or down and its double layer gives this dress good structure. The only negative would be that it falls on the small side and I'd suggest going up a size."

"This dress is a genius in its sheer simplicity. The fabric is fabulous quality which you can't fully appreciate until you try it on. It gets a 4 for fit only because its a bit of a struggle over my shoulders (broad) and boobs (erm...ample) but once its past that zone it slides down like a dream (that sounds like I'm auditioning for a certain type of film. sorry!) . I bought it for work but the cleavage on show prohibits this - I work in a school...for boys. No worries though it is already a firm favourite.
Anyway both times I've worn it its done the trick as far as compliments go and has remained comfortable all night. As usual I wish I'd bought two...a definite staple. I love it! Well done, team!"

"This is a lovely dress if you have the curvy sllhouette for it! Great quality heavy jersey which would hold in any little bumps and conceal underwear lines for a smooth look. Unfortunately, while I am slim, I do not have a very curvy sillhouette so I just ended up looking like a smarties tube in black! So, unfortunately it had to go back:-("

"Based on other reviews, I ordered the Jessica dress, US10. I have an hourglass figure, am 5'6", but could not pull off the dress. The dress showed my bulges and did not "hold" me in as I had hoped. And, it was too long for me. I've had much better luck with Baukjen's other jersey fitted dresses with ruching on the sides."

"Not having quite the dream figure I ordered this in the sale purely based on the raving customer reviews. I sized up (normally 12), which was a good thing, and must say I love the dress! It did have to go straight to the tailor as the length is awful on me, but I can;t wait to have it back and wear it"

"Alhough this dress is quite expensive it's definitely worth it! It makes me feel really slim and sexy - the length and cut is really flattering. I sized up having read the reviews - am usually a 10 but the 12 in this dress is a really comfy fit. Would recommend a decent hold-it-all-in slip to smooth over lumps and bumps."

"I had some delivery problems in the States with this item but eventually got one as a present. The double layer makes it more flattering than a conventional body hugging dress. It's a lovely versatile piece that's going to be in my closet for a long time. The slight cleavage showing might not be suitable for conservative work places but there are so many ways to play with it. I do find that it rides up a bit when I walk around."

"Was a little nervous about buying a close fitting jersey dress, thinking I might not feel comfortable. Really glad I did, it's stylish, comfy and I wear with a pretty floaty shirt over the top so it looks really different. Glad I got the 8, the 6 probably not as comfy even though I'm a 6 in all the non-jersey dresses."

"Love this dress - it's a lovely classic style and very classy looking - grown up sexy! I didn't feel like I was revealing too much of anywhere; with a decent neckline that isn't too low and a length of just below knee level, but still sexy due to being very figure hugging. It is more figure hugging than I would usually wear so the 10 was WAY too tight so re-orderd the 12 (usually a 10 to 12, but often a 10 in dresses) which was perfect. I didn't find the double layer too hard to get into as other have mentioned but felt well held in!"

"The positive reviews on this dress are all correct. I received it today and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The double layer is genius, it smooths all lumps and bumps and is very figure flattering. The fabric is so soft, it's truly comfortable and a joy to wear. I LOVE the v-neck. That's unusual in a sheath dress and helps elongate the neck and body overall. I would buy this dress in other colors, it's that versatile."

"The material in this dress hides the lumps and bumps beautifully. I'm a size 14 with big boobs and it makes me look a size smaller, lovely length, sexy - can wear it in day for office wear, or dress it up with heels for a night out. I wish they did others colours as I would buy more."

"This is a gorgeous dress but it does come up a bit small. The spanx will definitely need to be worn underneath! However, the stretch means that it is comfortable to wear and holds me in. No carbs before 'Jessica' though!"
