"Being tall and a comfortable size 12 with a larger bust I often struggle to find a flattering dress. I bought this dress for a formal occasion figuring it could be either dressed up or down. I absolutely love it. The ruching certainly works wonders and hides any lumps or bumps. I know I will be getting lots of wear out of it. The quality seems really good and expect it will last well."

"I bought a variation on this dress (with asymetrical neckline) in grey last summer and I've had loads of wear out of it. I was given the black and the green in this style as a birthday present and can't wait to wear them. I love the versatility of these dresses, they can be dressed up or down and all my IO/Baukjen dresses are fail-safe, I know I can put them on and look and feel great, no matter what the occasion.
Tip: Wear the dresses bare legged, as I wore my grey one with tights last week and it created a little friction and I had to keep tugging the dress down. Or wear with a belt when you wear tights!"

"I have several of these dresses and will probably acquire more as new colours are launched! This dress works as a long top with jeans or leggings or a dress which can be worn either with opaque tights in the winter or bare legs in the summer. Travels really well and washes without any need for ironing. Comes up big so for the best effect order a size down. Perfect!"

"This may be a good dress for others, but not for me. The ruches do not quite hold up, and keep slipping down esp in the front. The material is nice- soft and thin for the summer."

"This is a truly fabulous little black dress.
Being only 5'1" I struggle with finding dresses that are short enough - with the ruching, this one was the perfect fit.
I bought this dress (fairly last minute and it came well in time and packaged in the usual Baukjen loveliness) because I had a 'smart casual' function to go and was unsure what to wear. Catering for both I wore the dress with a smart set of accessories and had a back up set of more casual ones in my bag - the ideal outfit to dress up or down.
Thank you once again Baukjen for a beautiful dress with unbeatable service."

"Have this dress in Blue Melange (which I love), so ordered it in Dusted Khaki (same size 8). However, when it arrived it was 2 inches bigger than the blue version and hung like a pair of curtains. Very disappointing.The designs are lovely, but I really feel that quality inconsistencies in size/length let the brand down and are a really disaster when buying mail order and you expect parity across sizes/designs."

"I'm so glad I bought this, its going to be a real staple in my wardrobe. Great thick fabric, very stretchy, adjustable to whatever length you need by ruching it more or less. It works with a jacket or cardi for day, pulled down for a longer length, and also with heels plus statement necklace for night. Five stars!"

"This is a gorgeous dress that can be accessorised up or down. I'm between a size 8 and 10 and gave all the usual lumps and bumps so was a little nervous of this dress, but it really is flattering. The gathered material hides a multitude of sins. My husband also gives it a thumbs up! Delivered with the usual care and quality."

"Bought this in Khaki for an evening wedding party. Smoothed over any lumps and bumps, and disguised curves in the wrong places!
I'm 5.5" and length was fine. Washed well afterwards and drew lots of compliments on the evening.
Can be dressed up with gold accessories, or made more every day with tan or brown leather accessories.
Really happy with the purchase and wouldbuy other similar styles in future."

"I bought this dress in khaki so I could wear it now with bare legs and with tights in the colder months. I just love how versatile this dress is, I am currently wearing it for day's out but with a change of shoes and accessories would be perfect for a night out with hubby or the girls. "I already had this in black and wear it all the time in winter - so bought the blue version in the sale. It's just as comfortable as the black version, but the colour is less forgiving about the lumps and bumps than the black one! That can be solved with decent underwear though... Overall a lovely dress."
