"As many of the reviews have said, this dress is much too long (I'm 5'9" in heels) and it's very difficult material to sew so unless you have a very good sewing machine there will be an extra cost for alterations. Having said that, it's really flattering, striking and comfortable. Can't wait to wear it - after it's been taken up."

"Amazing dress!! It is a winner for any and every lady. I bought it for xmas and I received compliments from men and women. It made me feel sexy and glamourous. At 5'ft 10 I find it difficult to get the lengths in most clothes but even though this was slightly too long I had it altered. No problem for a good seamstress so don't be put off. Fabric is also flattering. Worth the purchase."

"I ordered this dress in the E size but unfortunately it wasnt available so ordered the D! I simply had to write this review as so happy with my purchase! It arrived this morning as promised and fits beautifully. I cant wait to wear it to a wedding next weekend!"

"wore this to a summer wedding and felt amazing. the dress is fitted but lined, so it doesn't cling to too much. it is long, i'm 5'7" and with 4inch heels i had to grasp the dress on the ruched side whilst i walked, but the extra length made it feel all the more decadent. simple and elegant."

"An amazing statement piece, both casual and striking. The length is extra long so can suit any height with a needle and thread. Sizing runs slightly small for a close fitting knockout look."

"Love this dress - it will be perfect for Summer Weddings.
Only niggle is it's length - I'm 5ft 9ins and even with heels I'll be tripping over it. So will need to get hem taken up - but at least I have that luxury, often "long" dresses aren't actually that and you can't put material back!"
