"I wanted this dress a while ago and it wasn't showing on the site anymore so was thrilled when it reappeared in the big sale a couple of months ago. I absolutely love this dress and the ribbon detail is so cool. People at work always comment on this one and the plain black one I bought with ruching on the sides. Another fantastic purchase from Isabella Oliver!"

"I got so many compliments when I wore this dress both to my work shower and to a charity event. Total strangers and friends alike said it was the most beautiful maternity dress they had ever seen I felt like a million bucks in it. Sexy, beautiful and, best of all, totally comfortable!"

"I needed a dress to wear to a few evening work events and a wedding. After considering a couple of other IO dress styles, I settled on this one and am very happy with it. It's classic, dressy without being too formal, form fitting, flattering in all the right places, but most importantly, comfortable! Fabric is smooth, not too heavy and nice quality. The satin tie is a bit on the short side, but I don't mind it. I was a Size US 4 pre-pregnancy and purchased this in Size 1. It's a perfect fit for me at 27 weeks, with room to grow as I get bigger. Lots of compliments. I feel wonderful in it!"

"The dress itself is flattering, but I find it annoying that the satin sash - which is completely attached and not removable - doesn't go all the way around. It starts at the sides, so it's only on the front. The ribbon is also fairly short. I have no idea how they got it in a bow in any of the pictures. I got a size 4, which fits perfectly, with room to grow. Only disappointment is the bow."

"Very happy with the dress. I am a size 14 and bought a size 4 - currently 26 weeks pregnant and need to tie the ties quite tightly to get a good shape, but think it will be a perfect party dress for the Christmas and New Year as I get bigger."

"Bought this for a wedding and it was love at first sight - the quality is fantastic, the cut very flattering and incredibly comfortable. I'm now 5 months pregnant and showing quite a lot, but actually felt sexy in this dress! Another female guest was so impressed she said I looked like Carolyn Bessette :-)

"So nice to have found an evening dress that is well fitting and elegant for pregnancy. My only comment would be that the satin bow should be longer in order to be able to tie it more elegantly. Otherwise fantastic dress. Very happy with it"

"I am UK size 8-10 and initially struggled over the sizing of this dress given my experience with other IO dresses. However the size 1 fits me perfectly and I am really looking forward to dressing this up for evening or down for work. My only comment is that the bottom of the dress isn't quite as fitted as the picture lead me to believe. Its definately not A line but its not a pencil fit on me either."

"I had to attend a winter wedding and couldn't find a decent dress to cover my precious growing belly... until I saw this.

"I needed a dress for an awards ceremony, after trying a number of them I bought this dress and it was wonderful. Very comfortable and I had compliments on it all night. "This is a really lovely dress, but is just not flattering to wide hips, due to the way it nips in at the knee. I'm not a big girl (5'7" and UK size 10-12) but I go in at the waist (or used to!) and out at the hip. You can see by the way all the models are standing with their legs crossed - it's quite narrow at the bottom. I'm only 17 weeks and it would probably look better with a bigger belly, as it may balance the look out a little. But the fabric is lovely and it seems very well made - I'm sure it would look amazing on someone who has narrower hips :)"

"I am very satisfied with this dress- it fits perfectly! I am a size 10-12 and I bought a size 4. It hugs my curves perfectly, but not too much. It is very elegant and sexy. This is my second dress from IO and I am eyeing one more:) I love the fabric- it is strechy and soft. I can't wait to wear it! I will be the most elegant and chic pregnant woman in town! "This dress is perfect for looking great while expecting. The material is a soft cotton with a satin bow in the front. Because of the cut of the dress this is a perfect evening dress. I wore this dress with my first pregnancy and am going to again with my nexy pregnancy!"

"I love this dress - especially now as I am becoming extremely large in the last few weeks of pregnancy and it's all out front. The bow should be a few inches longer to tie over a really large belly, I have to tie it in the back now - detachable would be marvellous as I could then wear the dress for daytime too. Unbeatable comfort, the same lovely material as the cap sleeve scoop tops in which I currently live. :) Although it says dry clean, I was able to wash it very VERY gently and air dry it - wonderful because this truly is my best (and most worn) dress ever."

"This dress has the greatest shape. It's exceedingly comfortable and stylish the same time. The cut is fantastic. I got so many compliments wearing this dress it was unbelievable. The best was a few women in my office said this dress made them want to get pregnant, ha ha :-). One slight thing to watch out for: the place where your hip hits your legs tend to get wrinkled, especially if you sit down for a period of time. Overall, it's a great dress, not to be missed!"

"This is a beautifully cut and fitting dress, but it is difficult to recreate the look on the website as the sash is actually quite short - it is possible to tie it in a drapey knot, centre or side, but a bow is difficult with the amount of sash given (NB the sash is attached to the sides of the dress, so cannot easily be converted to a day dress). Having said that, once you've fiddled about with it, you cannot fault the cut of the dress itself and because it is cut to cling around your bump, you still look thin from the side! Other maternity clothes fall away from the bump giving a very ungainly look from the side. Isabella Oliver understand what is flattering in maternity wear, namely, CLING and DRAPE!"
