"I have this in a couple of colours and receive compliments in it every time. The fit is excellent. I have worn them from around 4 months pregnant right up until my first baby was born at 42 weeks. They have now come out for the second pregnancy. The quality of the fabric means that the colour, fit and finish are as good now as it was for the first wear.
Be warned the tops are very low cut but on the plus that does make the most of the pregnancy bust."

"I bought this top for a night out and ended up keeping it though unsure - as i had nothing else. I ordered twelve and ten. The twelve was HUGE - i am 28 weeks with huge boobs but the top bit was gaping. I kept the ten and wore it. I had so many comments on my boobs that i wished i'd ordered the 8 as it was still gaping. I wore it again last weekend and ended up putting a vest top under it as it was so low and gaping . I am 5 foot 8 so not tiny. Size down - I wish i had."

"One of my all-time favorite maternity tops. The neckline is amazingly flattering and the criss-cross chest is designed in such a way that it works with your "assets" instead of trying to bind them in a weird way."

"This is really lovely and feels a bit dressy with jeans. I also wear it with the maxi skirt I bought 6 years ago (for first baby) from you and it looks really elegant. My only issue is that it is a little baggy at the armpit area and while I know this is the design I would have preferred a sleeker fit."

"I'm a size 14 and quite broad across the chest and don't particularly like low cut tops or my arms on show. This top is very very flattering, it doesn't flaunt your cleavage in a distasteful way but still shows that you have a womanly figure- brilliant! I really love the colour too. This top can be worn with a suit or jeans and i'm sure will be a staple item in my maternity wardrobe."

"Despite loving my other IO tops, this one was not for me. I liked the colour but the overall shape did not suit me as it exposed at least half of my bra and so did not sit properly at all. When it was pulled up to cover my bra, this made the bit at the shoulders look odd. Disappointing but fit probably depends on your frame with this one."

"I bought this top so that I had something more formal to wear while pregnant. Again the styling and quality is excellent but be careful on the underwear you choose because of the cut of the top. If you wear 'normal' wide strapped maternity/breastfeeding bras your underwear will show (I hate that!). So the negative point to this top is that I had to buy a bra just for this dress."

"This is a beautifuly made and unique top which I totally love and can see myself wearing post baby - a real bonus. Sadly I think the size 4 I purchased is way too generous. The top panel sags under my arms and the cross over pieces at the front move down or up out of position, so I am constantly re-adjusting them."

"If you are well endowed then top shows a lot of cleavage. No problem to wear with a bra. Very baggy on the shoulder area, just the way the top is designed, a bit strange but still a very nice and comfortable top. Quality is really poor, material pulls and has bobbles on it. Handwash only and even so lifespan 2 months max. More of an evening than work top due to cleavage exposure so not really appropriate for work unless a size c and below."

"Really pleased with this top. Bought it in black, having bought the white short-sleeved one in the sale. Really flattering fit and I love the shape of the neckline. My only concern is that my white one bobbled slightly after only one wear. Still looks nice, but, for the price, I would expect more. As it is, I paid half price so wasn't too upset. If I had paid full price, I may well have returned it. The black one seems to be of a slightly better quality though - hasn't bobbled yet."

"I am so dissapointed. I already own the black short sleeve portrait which I wore constantly with my last pregnancy, 3 yrs ago. I ordered the White one and the quality was so poor I could not believe it had an IO label in it! Also the fit was poor and the White had a pink tinge to it. Sent it back right away."

"I ordered a size down, and still had at least 4 inches I could have cut off from around the bustline/shoulder area. Looks more like a loose camisole and bolero top on me. I have relatively narrow shoulders, which in this top, at least, are definitely not balanced out by my large bust. There's just so much loose droopy fabric around the bust and shoulders - especially the side bits - looks like I have 4 big boobs. (I'm usually an IO 5, and ordered a 4). This was my first IO disappointment."

"The portrait neckline is very sexy and the ruching hugs my growing pregnancy curves. I wear another cami or shirt under this top for the office. But the top by itself is great for a night out. The neckline and cut of the top are very flattering."

"I coud not get this top to work on me despite considerable time trying to arrange the odd layers of material at the front. I am only a size A bust but the size 1 was far too tight - only on the bust, fine elsewhere. It also bagged out along the sides unless I pulled it down far too low. It was pretty uncomfortable and felt like I was wearing a selection of bandages around my bust. Not a keeper for me unfortunately."

"I bought this in scarlet mostly as I'm sick of wearing black already. Its comfy and does make me feel good- but as other reviewers said it is very low cut, some of the fabric folds take a bit of arranging and it does feel like it was made for someone with a long shoulder to chest length (and I'm 5'8''& don't have low cleavage!). Overall I'm still happy & not wearing black makes me feel much happier."
