" i was a little nervous about this dress based on the varying reviews, but after having tried it on and with the various top configurations, i love it! not sure if other reviewers realized it, but this is the shorter version of the wrap column dress so the extra length of fabric is meant to create different tops (i love the 1-shoulder and strapless versions!).
i bought the black version which makes the type of material less of an issue (i agree it doesn't look the best, but it's overall a great buy for what you get, especially on sale). for reference: i'm a pre-pregger size US 4/6 and i bought the IO size 1, and it fits perfectly. i'm early in pregnancy and i look forward to wearing this for several parties/weddings in the coming months. i'm already planning to wear it this weekend and i'm not even showing yet (it looks that good!)

" As with some other people i think the quality of the dress could be better but overall as maternity clothes go it was a good purchase. Its a good fit and looked well. The only thing is the length of the straps (which are not mentioned in the product). Its hard to figure out what to do with them. I just wrapped them around and around my waist and then had a big bow at the back. The dress arrived super quick though-i think within 4 days so cant fault isabella oliver. "

" Cheap material and the pockets just exaggerate the pregnancy roundness rather than compliment it. Goodness knows what you were suppose to do with the huge length of fabric around the top of the dress! "

" I ordered the maternity wrap cocktail dress in black, size4. I was really apprehensive about ordering online (i live in Australia and would prefer to try on dresses in-store) but have been totally proved wrong when my dress arrived after i only ordered it 3 working days beforehand. It fit beautifully! I am a size 14 AUS but reading one of the previous reviews a girl said she was the same size but had C-cup breasts and suggested going a larger size than her size3 she oredered if your breasts were bigger. Im a D-cup and took this advice and got a size4. Very happy i did - it fits PERFECTLY. The fabric is light and airy, and the dress itself really makes you feel special, and not like a sack of potatoes! I will recommend you to everyone it know! Beautiful dress and a fantastic price!!! "

" The dress is a stunning colour but the fabric looks and feels a little cheap, which given the price was unexpected. I ordered a 10 wondering if this might be a bit small given my pregnant boobs, but it is rather baggy so will require some alteration to avoid exposing myself in public. The design is very elegant and will be ideal for the wedding I am attending. "

" I'm a Aus 14 with size c boobs. I ordered red (as tired of wearing black) in both sz 3 & 4 and keeping the 3.If my boobs were any bigger it may've been a bit tight on top while at 23wks (and not showing much at all) the bottom of the dress is actually a bit big. For a wedding in 4 weeks time should be perfect. The colour looks fantastic on, the length is just on /above my knees (I'm 5'7) which is what I am comfortable with, the fabric hangs nicely & although I wanted to wear the one shouldered style I found the strapless version looks better. A few negatives - why does a cocktail dress have pockets which add to the bulk?? & return postage to the UK from Perth, AUS is about $40!! "

" I bought this dress to wear to several functions over xmas and think it is fabulous. It drapes perfectly and sits well over my bump. I bought a size 1 and am normally an 8 - 10 AUS. It fits well on the bottom half but is a bit loose around the top (I am small busted.) I'm sure I will grow into the top through-out my pregnancy though. "

" I had been invited to my husbands business do in London. Dress code was 'cocktail dress' and Im 5 months pregnant. What better excuse than that do you have to shop at Isabella Oliver? I ordered this dress and another one and both have been returned. I ordered size 10. I am normally a size 10/12. The bust area was tight, the fabric was very flimpsy and showed off the tiniest imperfection. I really loved the idea of having options with the ties that could go over your shoulders, round your waist etc. I appreciate not all dresses suit everyone and this one certainly didnt fit the bill with me. However I think that unless you have just put on baby bump stay clear. The dress does not allow for your growing clevage (something to be celebrated!) and at nearly £150 in price, is totally over rated :( "
